Privacy and GDPR Policy
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) protects the rights of privacy of every EU resident, giving them a greater say as to how their data is employed. It also places responsibilities on every person, business or organisation that collects personal data, to ensure that this data is managed appropriately and is held securely. UPGRADE TUTORING is compliant with the requirements of GDPR. All schools are required to meet the expectations of GDPR and as former school teachers, Upgrade Tutoring staff are well-versed in GDPR responsibilities.
-All data provided by parents and students who contact us / register with us is kept private and secure.
-We collect the minimal amount of information required in order for us to carry out our responsibilities effectively, including but not restricted to contact and payment details.
-Your data will not be sold or supplied to a third party.
-Your data may help us in formulating ways to serve and improve service to our clients.
-Your data might be used to contact you with information regarding further educational opportunities that might benefit you or to ask if you would be willing to support us with recommendations of our services. You can, of course, contact UPGRADE TUTORING to request that such information not be communicated.
-The law and our Safeguarding policy requires us to contact agencies with relevant information in the event of a safeguarding issue arising.
-If you have made contact with Upgrade Tutoring as a client, potential client or for any other reason, you may request a copy of the information we hold on file for you, make amendments to that data or remove the data.
-After a student completes their tuition with Upgrade Tutoring, parental and student contact information, payment information, academic information and communications can be deleted.
